    Cleanroom technology

    Air-handling wall

In smaller cleanroom units, whether as a demonstration room, control room or as an enclosed cleanroom booth in a normal manufacturing environment, there are often space problems for implementing the necessary exhaust ducts.

As a special feature, we offer the training of our 66mm Sanoclean cleanroom wall as an air-handling wall. In the lower wall area, receptacles for filter frames are milled out or corresponding flush-mounted grilles are installed.

Above the suspended ceiling, the respective connection sockets of the ventilation system are connected to the wall, and the air-handling channel can be up to 900mm wide. Necessary reinforcements are made using aluminium moulded tubes or Purenit functional material, depending on the requirements. For the highest demands, the HPL panels in this area can also be coated on both sides.

Here, too, we work closely with the ventilation planner to implement the respective design according to requirements. We have already implemented a large number of such projects with CTA in Wr. Neudorf, a specialist in clean air, for companies such as Panasonic, Greiner, CTA Showroom, and many more.

    Material airlock, active/passive

In addition to being designed as a walk-in material airlock, a closed box version is also used for the introduction of samples, materials, and various small objects into cleanrooms.

In our Sanoclean system, we manufacture ready-to-install boxes that offer a standard material chamber of up to 600x600x600mm.

The two doors are equipped with glazing, which enables visual monitoring of the airlock process.

Depending on the design, active – with ventilation, or passive – without ventilation, the side walls are air-handling.

For an active version, the filter unit for the fan is installed above the material chamber, as are the sensors for monitoring the air quality in the airlock chamber. Optionally, the material airlock can also be operated with external supply and exhaust air.

The airlock process is initiated on demand via an LED button on one side, and the airlock control system executes and monitors the process.

For the highest demands/requirements in BSL3 laboratories, we also offer these material airlocks in gas-tight versions.

    Workstation for visual inspection

For manual sample inspection, we have developed a compact module that is suitable for ensuring optimal exposure conditions.

The Visual Inspection Box is made entirely of Sanoclean cleanroom panels, which have a special surface with minimal reflectivity for this purpose. The special anti-fingerprint surface is half black and half white, thus replacing conventional glass plates.

The necessary illumination strength is guaranteed at all points in the box, and corresponding temperature and light intensity measurements are available.

A fully encapsulated LED strip serves as the light source, enabling easy disinfection and cleaning of the entire box. The electronics are also housed in a closed area, achieving protection class IP44.

The box is delivered ready to plug in, and electrically height-adjustable table frames for ergonomically optimal work are optionally available.

    Airlock control system

For the operation of our material airlock, as well as doors for personnel airlocks – whether in a normal Sanoclean version or in a gas-tight version – a corresponding control system is necessary for the execution and monitoring of the necessary processes.

We supply the airlock control system in the form of a freely programmable unit, ready for connection to a provided power supply.

The respective programming is done using prepared standard modules that can be customized for the customer.

    Possible changeable parameters include:

    • Ventilation times
    • External authorizations
    • Error messages

The exact programming is therefore developed together with the customer and documented in a specification sheet.

The hardware components are industry standard, therefore fail-safe and long-term replacements are available. We exclusively use Phoenix Contact components.

To trigger access, request buttons with LED signaling, emergency stop buttons, flashing and signaling lights, access controls (provided by the client) and other customer-specific components are used.
